The Member for Bura (Hon. Yakub Adow Kuno, MP) to ask the Cabinet Secretary for East African Community (EAC), the Arid & Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs) and Regional Development: - Could the Cabinet Secretary – (i) state and explain the criteria the Ministry used to allocate donor funds meant for drought mitigation measures to Counties in Arid & Semi-Arid Lands (ASALs), and specifically in Bura Constituency? (ii) tabulate how Ksh. 16billion from USAID and Ksh. 4billion from the Government was distributed among drought affected counties?
