THAT, taking into consideration the findings of the Joint Committee of the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Health and the Senate Standing Committee on Health in its Report on the vetting of a nominee for appointment as the Director- General for Health, laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 31st July 2024, and pursuant to section 16(2) of the Health Act, 2017 and section 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, 2011, this House approves the appointment of Dr. Patrick Omwanda Amoth as the Director-General for Health.
